“The bursary has allowed me to attend an academy for cricket by Steve Perryman (ex county player/coach) where I received expert coaching from Steve and other professional county players. This has allowed me to cement my place within the U19 Warwickshire County squad for this year and next. Without the help of funding this coaching would have been out of reach financially.” James Hunt (Sport) “The Halesowen Foundation is a great help in supporting talent.” Jonathan Scott (Music) “In 2010 I visited St Lucia on a cricket tour with Worcestershire U17s cricket team. Without the money awarded from this bursary I would not have reached my target of raising the sum of £1300 for the tour.” Michael Hingley (Sport) “The Halesowen Foundation is a very generous and awesome charity that helps young people achieve their potential.” Lara Tipper (Sport) |
“The money from the Foundation has helped me to get my Grade 8 in Piano. I would not have achieved these grades without the bursary because it paid for extra lessons and for my exams.” James Green (Music) “I would like to thank The Halesowen Foundation for their support. The money awarded to Ellie has helped her to continue training and working hard in her dancing. Her excellent first year College exams results and continued success in freestyle dancing say it all really. Thank you.” Mrs Tonks “The Halesowen Foundation took the pressure off us during difficult times, in providing funds to help with private music tuition. Without these lessons Adam would not have achieved his grade 8 and without his grade 8 he would not have been able to go to the University. We would like to say a big thank you for your support.” Mr & Mrs Wheeler |
