This engaging 10-week course offers a comprehensive blend of hands-on workshops and expert guidance, covering a wide range of photographic techniques—from classic analogue methods to cutting-edge digital processes. By the end of the course, you’ll have crafted a stunning portfolio of 10 diverse images, showcasing your new skills and creativity. This portfolio is not only a powerful tool to impress potential clients but also a valuable asset to help you progress onto advanced courses or exciting job opportunities.

Course content

  • Intermediate & Advanced Photography Evening Classes
  • Higher Education (HNC, HND, BA programs)
  • Creative Industry Careers: Photographer, Studio Assistant, Digital Marketer, Influencer, Wedding & Portrait Photographer, School Photographer
  • Entrepreneurship: Start your own photography business or develop it as a fulfilling second job

Course Highlights:

  • Learn to master your DSLR and understand the crucial exposure triangle: aperture, shutter speed, and ISO
  • Discover key image formation techniques including composition and formal elements
  • Experiment with traditional photography methods like photograms and pinhole photography
  • Gain hands-on experience with studio lighting and multiple flash techniques
  • Get introduced to Adobe Photoshop to elevate your images
  • Participate in group critiques and produce a professional portfolio
