National Apprenticeship Week 8th – 14th February
Halesowen College will be hosting its first Facebook Takeover on Thursday 25 February, aimed at helping parents and guardians of year 11 pupils to prepare their child for the next step of their education.
Useful videos and tips will be shared throughout the day, and specialist staff will be available on the social media site from 9am – 7pm to answer questions. Visitors to the event will find out about the range of courses, the support available and the free bus service.
Helen Burgoyne, Marketing Hub Manager at Halesowen College, said: “The pandemic has caused so much uncertainty, and it’s understandable that parents and guardians are anxious about the future for their children.
“This Facebook Takeover gives them the chance to ask questions and talk to us, so that we can reassure them and provide the information they need to confidently support their child as they make decisions about their future.
“We can’t see people face to face at the moment, but there are still lots of ways to get information about the College and our wide range of courses. Our next Virtual Open Event is on the 27 April.”
