Why study this course?

Learning English with us will improve your communication skills and can help you to gain work or progress to further study. Our ESOL courses are designed to improve your knowledge and skills in reading, writing, speaking, grammar and vocabulary and listening, and include digital skills.

Course Content

This course is designed to support you in improving your English skills in reading, writing and speaking while studying a vocational qualification. You will study units in healthy living and digital skills.

Entry Requirements

You will do a short initial assessment to find out your level of English for speaking, listening, reading and writing. This tells us the areas you need to develop. This course is suitable for learners who are Entry 3 or Level 1.


You will need a pen, an A4 sized lined notepad and a ring binder folder to keep your work in. You will also need an internet connection to access online lessons a computer with microphone and camera, a tablet or smart phone and headphones.

Day, time, duration

Thursday 10:00 am-12:00 pm, Entry 1-2, 30 weeks

Thursday 12:30pm– 2:30 pm, Entry 3, 30 weeks
