Why study this course?

This course covers the principles of food hygiene for food handlers working in or looking to work in either a catering or retail environment.

Course content

The qualification will enable learners to obtain a knowledge and understanding of; the importance of food hygiene, associated food safety hazards, good hygiene practice and controls based upon an awareness of food safety management systems.
An exam will be taken at the end of the 4 week programme (date will be confirmed during the classes).

Entry requirements

A good level of written and spoken English is essential.
