Assistant Accountant Level 3 Apprenticeship
About this course
This apprenticeship provides the knowledge and skills to allow you to start on a career path within Accounting.
It includes day-to-day financial activities, including data entry and month end management accounts and year end financial statements, VAT returns and tax computations.
As well as attending College for one day per week to gain theoretical knowledge, you will also be assessed in the workplace for your developing skills by a qualified assessor from the College.
What do I need?
- A minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade A - C, including Maths and English Language
Where can it take me?
Progression is likely to be part-time study for the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) Level 4 Diploma in Accounting and then further study to gain Chartered status, either with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) or with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
