About this course
Ever wondered how a business makes profit and manages to survive and grow? Well, they say that behind every successful business is a good accountant.
We look at how businesses prepare, analyse and improve their accounts to make more money in the future.
This course will teach the different types of businesses, such as Sole Trader, Partnerships, Limited and Public Companies.
It will help you to develop the numerical and investigative skills necessary to get ahead in the accountancy profession.
Regardless of whatever career you go in to this course will give you confidence when managing personal or professional accounts.
Upon completion of this course, students have successfully progressed to work at local and national accountancy firms such as Deloitte PricewaterhouseCoopers on their training programmes to become a qualified Accountant in the future.
How will I be assessed?
The course is assessed by written exams.
What do I need?
You will need to achieve at least 5 GCSEs with 2 at Grade B/6 and 3 at Grade C/4.
Additional Requirement: Grade 5 in Maths.
