What will I learn?
Unit 01 Developing skills in garden horticulture (3 credits)
- Learn about varieties of garden/allotment produce and how to control weeds
- Learn about and practise propagating plants, and growing and caring for plants and seeds
Unit 02 Sowing and growing techniques (3 credits)
- Learn about indoor and outdoor sowing techniques
- Learn about and practise transplanting seedling/plants, specific growing techniques

Multiple choice test and practical portfolio

601/1086/7 Level 1 Award in Occupational Studies for Workplace 24-30 GLH.
