About this course

You will learn about make-up for different facial features, skin types, eye and lip shapes, different facial characteristics, glasses and contact lens wearers as well as lighting and other photographic make-up factors.

You will learn how to use professional make-up products, tools and equipment.

  • UV20402 L2 Award in Photographic make-up

How will I be assessed?

  • Portfolio evidence
  • Observation of skills (x3 practical assessments)

What do I need?

  • Good literacy and communication skills

You will be required to have a successful interview and skill test.

Additional Information

Will this course lead to a formal qualification?
On successful completion you will achieve a recognised awarding body VTCT award in L2 Art of Photographic make-up.

What is required for the first class?
Pens, paper and writing equipment, lever arch file
Kit and uniform (tunic and trousers can be purchased through College)

  • Aged 16-18 years
  • Aged 19+ and in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance (wider benefits in some circumstances)
  • Aged 19+ and earning less than £15,736.50
