Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
This qualification develops a basic knowledge of the adult social care sector. It covers the type of job roles and services within it, the role of communication and the importance of valuing the individuals being cared for. This is suitable for anyone who is thinking about a career in adult health and social care.
Level 2 Certificate in Health and Social Care, and the
Level 3 Award in Health and Social Care (Includes UCAS Points)
These qualifications aim to provide learners with knowledge and understanding across a range of key subject areas in health and social care. It may support progression into a range of job roles in the health and social care sector, including:
– care support workers in adult residential settings
– healthcare assistants in community, primary care and acute health environments
– care support workers in domiciliary services, supported living or day services
– community-based support workers.
Access to Higher Education Diploma: (Health Professionals/ Social Work/ Nursing/Midwifery)
If you want to pursue a higher education qualification in nursing, mental health nursing, midwifery, children’s nursing, physiotherapy, paramedic science, as an operating department practitioner or in another health-related subject but lack the necessary qualifications our Access to Higher Education Diploma will give you the skills you need to go on to your dream career.
