Halesowen College Corporation is seeking applications for the role of Corporation governor. This is a voluntary but rewarding role and an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking College board. The Corporation is looking for candidates with backgrounds in Finance, Accountancy, Business, Education (particularly FE) and Community.

Halesowen College is a lively, ambitious and highly inclusive tertiary college providing a broad and extremely supportive education to young people from across the West Midlands, and an increasing range of vocational Higher Education courses, Apprenticeships and training for adults. The College exists to provide the exceptional education, training and support that will transform life chances and equip our community to flourish in a changing world. The College financial profile is strong and provision is judged Good by Ofsted.

Governor appointments are for one year in the first instance, with further terms usually being three years. All appointments are subject to meeting set eligibility criteria and governors are subject to the same responsibilities as those for charity trustees.
