College’s coronation party

Halesowen College has hosted a special Coronation Party for King Charles III  as a thank you to health care workers and care home residents. 

The College opened its Bistro@B63 training restaurant to health care workers and care home residents in Halesowen to come in and celebrate the Coronation with an afternoon tea.

His Majesty’s Deputy Lieutenant Martin Livermore MBE also attended the event.

The restaurant was decorated in red, white and blue to mark the special occasion along with a throne and crown. Students served and prepared the food.  

Jamie Morgan-Green, Community and Engagement Manager at Halesowen College, said: “It is an honour for the College to recognise the dedication of our healthcare workers and our care home residents at this time and we were delighted to invite them into College for a special celebration.”
