“Rising Star Award” for A Level Student Michael at AimHigher Engineering Event

NEWS

A Level student Michael Detheridge attended a visit to Keele University yesterday and was awarded a Rising Star Award for his efforts towards the Fast Trackers initiative, in association with Network Rail and Mott MacDonald.

Entrants had to re-design London Euston Station and design their own rail link, taking into consideration engineering and conservation amongst many other factors. This was a national event organised by Aim Higher.

Michael, who studies Further Maths, Computer Science and Physics, was rewarded with a helicopter trip anywhere in the UK, and a day with the engineering and maintenance team.

Great work Michael!
