Esports tournament and T level event for schools

Halesowen College is inviting local schools to come in for a special Esports tournament and a T-Level event.

Pedmore, Perryfields and St Michael’s Schools will be coming into College on Thursday 13 July to learn more about T Levels in Health, Education, Digital and Business.

T-Level courses are equivalent to three A levels and are a mixture of classroom and on the job training with at least 45 days at a work placement. There are also transition courses to T Levels in Digital and Business.

And pupils from St Michael’s Bristnall Hall, Oldbury Academy and Four Dwellings School will be arriving on Thursday 20 July for an Esports tournament. They will be playing Fortnight and Rocket League with prizes from the College’s technology partner Corsair.

Erika Walkington, Schools Hub Manager at Halesowen College, said: ”We are really looking forward to inviting these schools in to learn more about the courses we offer and to have a great time!”
