Two former Travel and Tourism students have come back to college to share their experience of the industry. 

Ross Edginton is working for TUI as a Customer Service Experience Representative at Birmingham Airport and Katie O’Connell is working as Cabin Crew for Ryanair. Ross came in and spoke to first year students about his career since leaving college, he studied Level Three Travel and Tourism and achieved a Distinction Star. 

He then worked as a Travel Consultant at TUI Merry Hill and then gained a promotion with a move to Birmingham Airport. 

 Katie left College after studying Level Three Travel and Tourism with Cabin Crew and gained a Distinction Star.  After leaving college she started working for Ryanair. 

 Emma Allen, Head of Division for Travel and Catering at Halesowen College, said: “The learners found these talks really informative and it has given them different job opportunities to consider and aim for.”
