Budding darts player Kai Williams is in training for the Welsh Open and Classic Tournament this May. 

Kai is studying Esports at Halesowen College but is a darts player in his spare time and spends many hours on the oche practising his skills. The 16-year-old trains a few times a week and loves to have mini competitions with his friend Billy Stanley. 

He is keen to take part in lots of different tournaments with the Welsh Open Tournament being his first competition. 

The College’s Student’s Union has sponsored a darts shirt for Kai to wear in his different tournaments. 

Kai, from Tipton, said: “Thanks to the Halesowen College Student’s Union for my shirt, I hope it will bring me good luck in the competition. 

“I’ll be busy practising and getting ready to do my best.”
