November Open Evening

NEWS

Halesowen College’s next Open Evening is on Wednesday 8 November from 4pm to 7pm.

Staff will be available to offer advice on a range of different courses and potential students can tour the campus and apply to secure their place for September.

Visitors will be able to learn about the new T-Levels courses which are equivalent to three A levels. The courses are a mixture of classroom and on the job training with 45 days at a work placement.

The College’s Apprenticeship team will also be on hand to offer advice to anyone looking for an apprenticeship.

The College’s full range of courses includes Cyber and Network Security and Esports, as well as over 30 A Level subjects and a variety of vocational subjects.

The College’s facilities have recently received a massive investment boost of over £20 million with a brand-new student hub, training rooms for Catering students, ‘Bistro at B63’ as well as a new Business School and A Level Hub. The College also has new Esports and Cyber Security Labs.

Visitors will also be able to find out more about the College’s coach service, which brings students to and from the site in a safe and environmentally friendly way.

Principal Jacquie Carman said: “We are really excited to meet potential new students and their parents/guardians at our November open evening.

“Visitors can tour the site and also apply to secure their place for September 2024. We have a wide range of courses and opportunities available for everyone, so come along and find out what we have to offer.”

Other Open Days are on Saturday 20 January 10am-2pm and Wednesday 24 April 6pm-8pm
