Prosthetics practice for students

NEWS

Theatrical make-up students at Halesowen College have used prosthetics for the first time as part of a fantasy themed project.

The Level Three students experimented with a number of prosthetics to create a range of looks.

They attached and blended prosthetic ears, noses and chins as well as using face paint, tooth enamel and extra items likes twigs and leaves to create a whole look.

Lily Bradley, Patrycja Kowalska and Elycia Best created a selection of stunning looks which took around 2.5 hours to complete.

Jodie Badland, Theatrical Make up & Beauty Therapy Lecturer from Halesowen College, said: “Our students did an incredible job for this project and were so creative. Using prosthetics for the first time isn’t easy and they handled them really well.  Well done to everyone!”
