Top work experience placement for Sam

Halesowen College student Sam Gingell has been working at the House of Commons as part of his work experience placement.

Sam, who is in his second year studying Level Three Travel and Tourism, spent three days in London helping with MP case work, office work and constituents’ enquiries.

The 17-year-old said: “It was an excellent opportunity to be part of an iconic British landmark. As well as been given a tour of the estate a highlight was visiting the chamber of the House of Lords.

“It was a very imposing building and as expected, security was really tight.”

Sam is a former pupil of Waseley Hills High School.
