Course content

Over 16 weeks, you will explore five key areas of digital know-how:

  • Using devices and handling information – from getting to grips with your device to managing files
  • Creating and editing digital content – including documents, images, and spreadsheets
  • Communicating online – using email, messaging apps, and video calls
  • Transacting safely and effectively – shopping, banking, and filling in forms online
  • Staying safe and responsible online – protecting your privacy and wellbeing

You will get hands-on experience with everyday tools and apps, all in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Entry requirements

Learners must be aged 16 and over.

No previous qualifications needed, just a willingness to learn!

Materials

Access to a laptop, desktop, or tablet with internet connectivity.

Basic word processing and spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Docs/Sheets).
