Why study this course?

This course is ideal for adult learners interested in exploring working as Cabin Crew, either as a first job or as a career change in Aviation. It will provide learners with an introduction to the knowledge needed to work as cabin crew. There is a mixture of theory and practical learning in our mock aircraft cabin and outstanding teaching environment.

Course content

This course offers an introduction to working as airline cabin crew and covers:
  • Working as Cabin Crew
  • Airline Health, Safety & Security
  • Aircraft Emergency Situations
  • Dealing with Passengers on board an aircraft
  • Cabin Service – Selling Techniques
  • Making Passenger announcements on board an aircraft

Entry requirements

A good level of written and spoken English is essential (grades 3 or equivalent is required), and learners should also demonstrate the ability, interest and desire to work as Cabin Crew. Please be aware that most airlines have a minimum height requirement of 5”2 in order to be employed as Cabin Crew.

Materials

Writing materials, calculator, plastic wallets and A3 folder for portfolio evidence.  A full day visit to an airline training centre will be required as part of your assessment at a cost of approximately £170 (this has yet to be confirmed).
