Apprenticeship - Business Administration - Level 3

This 15-18 month Apprenticeship is an ideal introduction to the world of work in an office environment. You will learn the essential knowledge and skills associated with an administrative role, which are applicable to many occupations in future life. You will need to be well presented, confident and have a good telephone manner.

You will also work to improve your skills in English, Maths and ICT over the course of your Apprenticeship.

How will I be assessed?

This is a Framework and you will be assessed entirely in the workplace. 20% will be off the job via distance learning to gain the essential knowledge. You will also be visited by an assessor in your workplace to guide you and assess your developing skills. You assessor will help you to compile an electronic portfolio of your work and this will be assessed throughout your Apprenticeship.

At the end of your apprenticeship your knowledge, skills and behaviours will be End Point Assessed by an independent assessor.

What do I need?

You will need to have or achieve a Certificate in Business Administration Level 2.

In addition, you will need to secure a job with an employer.

College Progression - you can progress to a Level 4 Apprenticeship in Business & Professional Administration.

You will need to be in employment – College staff may be able to help you, but you will probably need to apply for vacancies on the National Apprenticeship online vacancy website.
