Creative Arts Level 1
A creative course for creative learners.
This one year course is a combination of the subjects Drama, Movement, Media and Music, as well as English and Maths.
During this course you will take part in a range of practical lessons where you will learn a variety of creative skills and use a range of equipment. You will explore creating your own music video, being part of a band, and developing your own drama performance.
This course will also allow you to develop your organisation, communication and teamwork skills, as well as confidence and resilience. You will develop your study skills which will support your progression within college.
How will I be assessed?
This course is assessed through coursework and practical assessments.
What do I need?
You will need to complete a Literacy and Numeracy test as well as a satisfactory interview.
Where can it take me?
You could progress to a range of creative Level 2 courses including Performing Arts and Media. You could also consider junior positions in a range of creative industries.
