Digital Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship

Digital Marketers have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors. The primary role of a digital marketer is to define, design, build and implement digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms.

On completion, some of the knowledge and understanding you would gain include coding, basic marketing principles, applying the customer lifecycle, customer relationship management and how teams work effectively to deliver digital campaigns.

The Skills attitudes and behaviours that are built on include: Logical and creative thinking, analytical and problem solving skills, using own initiative, using a thorough and organised approach ability to work with a range of internal and external people and effective communication.

What do I need?

  • Ideally have at least 5 GCSE’s at grade 4/C or above, including Maths and English.
  • Applicants would also benefit from having a level 3 qualification, however this isn’t essential. Employers are likely to be looking for a proven passion for digital and social media.
  • Applicants that do not have a C/4 in English or Maths will be required to take a re-sit during the apprenticeship

Where can it take me?

This apprenticeship is recognised for entry on to the Register of IT Technicians and those completing their apprenticeships are eligible to apply for registration.

  • Level 3 Infrastructure Technician
  • Level 3 Team Leader
  • Level 5 Management

Additional information

Duration: 18 months

An apprenticeship is a real job, with hands-on experience, a salary and the chance to train while you work. You would be treated just like all the other employees, with a contract of employment, holiday leave and employee benefits. You would receive support from a dedicated assessor who regularly visits apprentices in the workplace.
