Apprenticeship - Health & Social Care (Lead Adult Care) - Level 3

This new apprenticeship offers progression for those who are already working in Care and who have achieved a level 2 Apprenticeship in Care, or who have substantial experience of working in the sector. You will be trained and assessed in the workplace by visiting assessors, although you may be required to occasionally attend College.

How will I be assessed?

Your knowledge and practical skills will be assessed both at College and in the workplace throughout your Apprenticeship, as well as in the End Point Assessment.

What do I need?

  • A Level 2 Apprenticeship in Care or substantial experience of working in the Care sector.
  • 5 GCSE passes at A - C or their equivalent, ideally including English Language and Maths.

Where can it take me?

  • Enhanced job opportunities and jobs with more responsibilities.
  • A Foundation Degree or similar level 4 qualification.
