The Pharmacy Services Assistant (PSA) works under the supervision of a Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, or other accountable healthcare professional. The PSA provides a variety of pharmacy and medicines services to patients, the public and other professional healthcare teams. The PSA supports the delivery of pharmacy services in a variety of pharmacy environments.
You will build on a wide range of knowledge in areas such as Dispensing and supply of medicines, Teamwork, Communication, person centred care and Health and Safety in the workplace
On completion of this apprenticeship, you will be a qualified Pharmacy Services Assistant.

Duration: 12 months
An apprenticeship is a real job, with hands-on experience, a salary and the chance to train while you work. You would be treated just like all the other employees, with a contract of employment, holiday leave and employee benefits. You would receive support from a dedicated assessor who regularly visits apprentices in the workplace.
