Pre Apprenticeship Programme
This course will help in developing employability skills with an understanding of how to apply for roles. Also learn how to write an effective CV, highlighting your desirable skills to employers.
The qualification is the Employability Award Level 2
This comprises of the following modules:
- Applying for work
- Interview skills
- Skills Network
- Mental Health Awareness
The content is generic to prepare for all sectors of industry.
It equips learners with employability skills required in order to access apprenticeships or employment.
How will I be assessed?
Coursework, and will have to pass a final mock interview.
What do I need?
Basic Maths and English (Level 1 or equivalent)
Where can it take me?
Could lead to Employment or an Apprenticeship.
Additional information
It is a 4 day course in total. Teaching days are Thursdays onsite in college (usually Coombs Wood).
