During the course, you will study an interesting variety of units that will cover the UK Travel & Tourism industry and Travel and Tourism Destinations, together with Customer Service. So, if you could see yourself living overseas as a Holiday Representative, starting your career within an airport, or flying the skies as Cabin Crew, this is the course for you.
Whilst considering working in Travel & Tourism you will also have the opportunity to learn more about The Airport Experience and The Cruise Industry. The course is also ideal if you envisage a university pathway.
Additional qualifications may include the English Speaking Board L3 Award in Travel & Tourism Oral Communication Skills for Overseas Resort Representatives.
The course is assessed through a combination of examinations, coursework, presentations and role play.
You will need to have achieved at least 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 and above, including English.
Retaking GCSE Maths as part of your programme is required if you do not have Grade 4.
You could progress to a range of higher level courses and professional qualifications.
This course is ideal if you are interested in a career as a Travel Agent, Holiday Representative, Passenger Services Agent, Cabin Crew, Hotel Receptionist or Events Coordinator.
