BSC Level 1 Award in IT User Skills (ECDL Essentials) (ITQ) 

The qualification is designed for a learner who is looking to gain an introduction to basic IT User Skills in order to progress to further training / learning. It is ideal for learners with little/no understanding in the use of IT and provides a learner with the skills and knowledge needed to continue to the next level of IT User Training or a non IT discipline where basic IT skills are required, such as administration. 

BSC Entry Level Award in Digital Skills  

Digital Skills is for people who are facing today’s job market without the skills to effectively search for jobs online, send emails or use web forms and other digital services. 

The course delivers the key competences you need for successful job-hunting, including: searching for jobs online; using social networks to find jobs; applying for jobs online; sending and receiving emails; formatting documents and letters; and using digital media devices.

BSC L2 Award in IT Skills (ECDL) 

The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) courses are popular qualifications and are recognised nationally and internationally by employers as a standard for competence in the use of IT. These courses will give your CV a qualification which employers are familiar with, as well as skills, knowledge and understanding, building your confidence.

If you want to pursue a higher education qualification in Business or Law, our Access to Higher Education Diploma will give you the skills you need to go on to your dream career. An Access to Higher Education qualification is widely recognised by universities and bridges the gap between existing education, and what is needed to study at degree level. The Access to Higher Education Diploma (Computer Science) is an intensive and challenging one-year course, that will give you an overview of Computer Science services in the 21st century, and develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for university. 

BTEC Higher National Certificate in Computing 

The Pearson BTEC Higher National Certificate in Computing is a Level 4 vocational qualification. Successful completion can help your career and academic development in several ways: 

Entering employment 
Continuing existing employment 
Linking with the appropriate vendor accredited certificates 
Committing to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) 
Progressing to university 

A BTEC Higher National Certificate (HNC) is equivalent to the first year of a full university degree. However, BTECs focus on learning by doing and that means you will put what you learn into practice right away. 

You will work on a series of assignments set in real-life scenarios throughout the course, which will help you develop the practical knowledge and skills employers and universities are looking for. 

BTEC Higher National Diploma in Computing 

The Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma in Computing is a Level 5 vocational qualification. Successful completion can help your career and academic development in several ways:
