The small print

No remission will be granted on Leisure (non-funded) courses.

The College operates a fee remission policy for all courses supported by the Skills Funding Agency.

For courses in excess of £100 an instalment option may be arranged.

Free Course Entitlement

  • You are entitled to your first full Level 2 qualification (equivalent to 5 GCSEs A* - C, or an NVQ or First Diploma) free of charge if you are aged 19-23 years.
  • If you are aged between 19 and 23 and do not have a full Level 3 qualification (equivalent to two A levels, a National Award, Certificate or Diploma, an Access to HE or NVQ 3) then you are entitled to take your first full SFA funded Level 3 qualification free of charge.
  • Skills for Life courses, eg Literacy and Numeracy are completely free of charge for everyone. GCSE English and Maths are free of charge for anyone who has not achieved a C or above in those subjects.
