Patricia White, Principal Associate, Loconomy, “Frankley is often referred to as a ‘forgotten community’, so we’re proud to be working with Halesowen College to bring CEDRIC to Frankley Community Library, with a team from Birmingham South West Job Centre and Fortem also joining us on the day. This partnership will make a real difference, helping local people develop digital skills, access employment support, and find local jobs through a live vacancies board. Through our work with Northfield Community Partnership, Loconomy is also supporting a community hub at the library – a vital local resource that was at risk of closing last year. The hub provides residents and families with access to practical support, including financial and housing guidance, employment support, and wider signposting services.”
John Murray, Assistant Principal for Commercial Development at Halesowen College commented, “CEDRIC is a fantastic resource for people looking develop their skill set. We are delighted to be working with Loconomy on their drive to give local people the opportunity to learn new skills that will support them in seeking employment.”
