T Levels at Halesowen College

T Levels are a new qualification designed to give you a head start towards the future you want.

They follow GCSEs and are equivalent to three A Levels.

T Levels offer a mixture of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience during an industry placement of at least 315 hours (approximately 45 days).

T Levels are two year courses, developed in collaboration with employers and businesses to make sure the content meets the needs of industry and addresses the issue of the skills gap. You will be prepared for work or university.

T Levels give you the chance to learn what a real career is like while you continue your studies.

Qualifications that count

When you pass your T Level, you will get a nationally recognised certificate showing the overall grade you achieved – pass, merit, distinction or distinction*. It will also give details of what you learned on the course to help you move into skilled employment or a higher apprenticeship.

UCAS points

T Level Distinction* is worth the same UCAS points as 3 A levels at A* – and will be recognised by universities and other education providers so you can choose to continue studying if you wish.

Accounts T Level

This T Level Accounts course is suitable for anyone interested in a career in accounting. Not only will you learn and develop your academic knowledge within accounts but will gain hands on experience.

Animal Management T Level

The T Level in Animal Care offers a unique blend of formal education and practical industry experience.

Level: Level 3

Digital Foundation T Level – (Innovation Pathway)

This course is aimed at developing a range of skills that will enable you to progress onto one of our digital T level pathways.

Level: Level 2

Digital Software Development T Level

The T-Level pathway in Digital Software Development is equivalent to three A-Levels. Upon completion of a T-Level, there are various opportunities available, allowing you to expand your knowledge, skills and experience to progress into a wide range of careers.

Level: Level 3

Digital Support and Security T Level

The T-Level pathway in Digital Support and Security is equivalent to three A-Levels. Upon completion of a T-Level, there are various opportunities available, allowing you to expand your knowledge, skills and experience to progress into a wide range of careers.

Education and Early Years T Level Foundation Year Programme

This course can equip learners with the skills, knowledge and behaviours necessary to study a T Level qualification in Education and Early Years, which are relevant to industry and the workplace.

Level: Level 2

Education and Early Years T Level Technical Qualification

The CACHE Level 3 Technical Qualification in Education & Childcare will provide learners with the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to progress into skilled employment or higher level technical training or study in the Education and Childcare sector.

Management and Administration T Level

T Levels are a new two-year programme choice that follows GCSEs and prepares learners for work, further training or study.
