How to Apply

We want to make the application and enrolment process easy for you. Here is everything you need to know about your application and enrolment journey.

Applying to Halesowen College

Once you decide which course you want to do, click the APPLY NOW button on our website to start your application process through our JOURNEY system. When we receive your application, you will be sent an email from us to invite you into college for an Advice and Guidance interview, audition for your course or to show your portfolio of work. That completes your first step to joining with us. There is nothing more that you need to do at this stage, so don’t worry, we have your application on our system. Make sure you use your own (not school) email address and regularly check your inbox as we like to keep in touch with our new learners as we go along!

Freshers Festival

Look out for an invitation to our Freshers Festival – you will be invited into College for the day to meet your teachers, sample lessons and take part in some great fun activities.

Enrolment Starts

In July we will contact you to start your enrolment. During this first stage, all we ask is that you give us your key information, along with a photograph and let us know of support you may need during your time with us. If you need it, you will have to request coach transport so that we can make all the necessary arrangements. For those with low-income households, now is the time to apply for our Learner Support Fund – you can find more information on our website. We will be in touch about your application after enrolment.

GCSE Results Day Has Arrived

GCSE results day has arrived and this is the final stage of your enrolment. Our teams will send you a link for you to provide your GCSE grades. When you have provided this information we will be in touch with you to confirm your place with us. Our staff will be working around the clock to process your enrolment as quickly as possible and will be in touch every step of the way. Once all processes are completed you will receive your Learner Agreement via email. Make sure that you sign this!

Enrolment Complete

Signing your Learning Agreement ensures that your enrolment is complete and your course is confirmed.

Induction Day Invitation

Look out for an email from us about your induction session at college and your coach information.

As soon as you apply to study with Halesowen College, we will keep in touch with you right up to the day you start with us.

Our teams will be busily working in the background to make sure that your application is processed, your information is uploaded on to our systems and we are ready to welcome you from day one.
