Library Service

We have an excellent Library in the Student Hub, Block 2, located on the Whittingham Road campus. The Library provides access to:​

• Books, including lots of fiction​
• E-books​
• Journals – including content accessible online​
• Online subscriptions e.g. Britannica Encyclopaedia ​
• Library Resources site – search and reserve items​
• PCs (available to pre-book)​
• Macs ​
• Printers/photocopiers​
• Study tables​
• Outside learning area​​

The Library is staffed during opening hours, offering support such as locating resources, assisting with referencing and connecting to the free College WiFi. The computers can be booked up to 7 days in advance to help students manage their study time.

The Library Resources site is available to students to search for books, journals, e-books, TV recordings and subscription sites. Books can be reserved online or by contacting Library staff. An FAQ page is available which includes basic information about using the service and helpful user guides about the resources.​
