Chief Executive of Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust Formally Opens New College Campus

On Friday 28th November 2025, the Chief Executive of the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust, Diane Wake, joined staff, students and guests to officially open the College’s brand-new campus, the Centre of Excellence for Health Education.

The Centre of Excellence for Health Education is the result of a multi-million-pound refurbishment of Shenstone House, representing a significant milestone in the College’s ambition to deliver exceptional education and training, specifically tailored to the health and care sectors.

Students have access to cutting-edge facilities, including specialised training rooms, advanced medical equipment and collaborative learning spaces designed to simulate real-world environments. These features ensure that students gain invaluable, hands-on experience and gain the practical skills required to excel in today’s fast-paced health and care industries.

The Centre of Excellence for Health Education Point is a testament to Halesowen College’s forward-thinking approach and commitment to delivering industry-relevant education. With it’s innovative design and focus on immersive learning, the Centre is set to play a vital role in preparing learners for rewarding careers in health and care for years to come.
