Services we offer

Apprenticeships - A Job with Training

Our apprenticeships are tailored to each employer, combining real workplace experience with accredited learning to give students practical skills and recognised qualifications. Available at levels 2 to 5 across sectors including Business, Digital, IT, Health, Finance, Early Years & Education, and Sciences, they provide hands-on experience, mentoring, and clear career progression. Employers gain job-ready, motivated staff trained to their specific needs, boosting productivity, retaining talent, and accessing funding support. Each programme builds a long-term talent pipeline, driving sustainable growth for both the individual and the business.

Skills Bootcamps - Skills Injection

Our Skills Bootcamps are short, intensive courses that deliver fast, targeted upskilling in areas that matter most to employers and learners. Covering sectors such as Digital, Marketing, Customer Service, Business, Logistics & Warehousing, and Healthcare, they provide practical, hands-on training to equip individuals with in-demand skills quickly. Free for eligible participants, Bootcamps combine expert instruction, real-world exercises, and flexible delivery to fit around work commitments. Employers benefit from a workforce with immediately applicable skills, improved productivity, and enhanced business performance; SMEs can access 90–100% funding. Skills Bootcamps deliver rapid, measurable results for both learners and businesses, supporting career progression and sustainable growth.

LEAD@HC - The Leaders Toolkit

Halesowen College has developed a new and exciting leadership programme – LEAD@HC. This programme has been designed to develop a toolkit, with an interactive and purposeful journey to cultivate individuals as exceptional leaders.

It is a bespoke leadership and management programme for team leaders, supervisors, middle managers, and directors. Delivered flexibly to minimise business disruption, it equips learners with practical skills in goal setting, delegation, communication, and team motivation.

Fully funded for eligible participants, it develops empowered, accountable leaders who drive growth and positive culture. Modules include:

Into Employment Programmes

Bridging the gap between learning and work, these are ideal for equipping individuals with the skills, confidence, and experience to succeed in today’s job market.

These short, 2 week or 4 week focused programmes, combine employability training, sector-specific skills, and a job interview at the end. Some include valuable work placements to support progression into sustainable employment.

Into Employment Programmes are ideal for job seekers, career changers, or those returning to work; they develop essential workplace capabilities such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and digital literacy as well as training relevant to a specific job. We currently have programmes tailored to logistics (including FLT licenses), Call handling, Customer services, Learning support assistants, and a variety of jobs within educational settings
