The initiative has been developed to strengthen collaboration between education and industry, ensuring that the curriculum remains dynamic, contemporary and closely aligned with the evolving needs of local and regional businesses and organisations. By connecting students with real-world opportunities and insights, the PowerPartner Programme will empower learners to thrive in their chosen careers and contribute meaningfully to society and create a pipeline of talent that will fuel the local economy and beyond.
Businesses and organisations are encouraged to join to make a tangible difference to learners through a dedicated skills pledge. This pledge enables partners to share their expertise, inspire the next generation, and support the development of a skilled and confident workforce.
As part of their partnership, the Emmiera Group will have the opportunity to contribute to the College’s employer boards, allowing them to shape future curriculum priorities and ensure students graduate with the skills businesses and organisations need most to remain competitive within their market. In return, the company will benefit a range of wide range of benefits, including wider promotional activities and discounts across the college estate.
The PowerPartner Programme is endorsed by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce and is open to businesses and organisations excited about shaping the future of education and employment opportunities for local people.
