Halesowen College have joined forces with local MP Alex Ballinger, Halesowen BID and the DWP to welcome businesses from across the area, including Sandwell NHS, Trinity Personnel, West Brom Building Society, Doocey Group, Halas Homes and Keir Group. There will also be a range of education and training providers present on the day.
The fair has been designed to give local job seekers a platform for skills development and career progression opportunities through discussions with local employers.
MP for Halesowen Alex Ballinger said “I am pleased to be taking part in the Halesowen Skills and Jobs Fair once again this year. Events like this play an important role in showcasing the wide range of opportunities available to both young people and adults across Halesowen.
I hope the fair will once again bring together jobseekers and local employers, helping to strengthen our local economy and reflect the Black Country values rooted in our proud manufacturing heritage. I would like to thank the Halesowen BID, Halesowen College, the DWP and the Cornbow for organising such a valuable and well-run event.”
