24 November 2025

Halesowen College is delighted to announce that Kea Masters has taken the title of Inspiring Project Award at this year’s Annual AOC Conference Student of the Year Awards.
Student of the Year

Kea, who excelled during their time at Halesowen College, achieved outstanding A Level results in Geography (A*), Film Studies (A), and English Language (B). They also completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), which earned them this remarkable recognition.

Kea’s EPQ project involved creating a screenplay inspired by Arthurian legends, incorporating representation from the LGBTQ+ community to challenge barriers and promote inclusivity.

Kea is currently on a gap year and plans to begin their university journey in September 2026, studying Film and Production.

All award winners from this year’s AOC Conference will be invited to a special Spring Awards Celebration at the House of Commons on 3 March 2026.
