Step up to Access (Adults)

The Step Up to Access is a 12-week fast-track course designed specifically for adults who are looking to return to education or change their career path. It offers valuable laboratory experience, enhances practical skills, and introduces key topics in science and health. The course is ideal preparation for progressing onto an Access to HE Diploma in areas such as Radiography, Midwifery, Nursing, Health Professions, Medical Science, or Science.

This course is perfect for those who are not quite ready to move straight into a Level 3 Access course and need a short, supportive programme to boost confidence and foundational knowledge. One of the main benefits is that, despite being a short course, it still enables you to complete your full Level 3 Access to HE Diploma within the same academic year.
