This course can open up a range of amazing opportunities, including an additional course in Cabin Crew. You will learn about the exciting world of Travel & Tourism, how the biggest industry in the world operates within the difference sectors, whilst putting valuable skills into practice. If travelling the world as a member of Cabin Crew sounds appealing, or maximising sales as a Travel Agent is more your thing- this is the course for you!
Throughout the course you will study a variety of units including, The UK Travel & Tourism Industry, Preparing for a Career in Travel & Tourism and Travel Agency Operations. You will also have the opportunity to complete the Introduction to Cabin Crew qualification.
In addition to attending a Cabin Crew training centre, you will be expected to undertake some work experience during the course.
You will need to have achieved at least 4 GCSEs at Grade 4 and above, including English Language.
Retaking GCSE Maths as part of your programme is required if you do not have Grade 4.
The course is assessed through a combination of coursework, external assessments and practical evidence.
You can progress to a range of higher level courses and professional qualifications.
This course is ideal if you are interested in working for a Tour Operator, Travel Agency, as Cabin Crew or other roles in the Travel & Tourism industry.
A uniform is required and details will be supplied at enrolment.
