Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge needed to work effectively with young children. It provides a pathway to a fulfilling and rewarding career in early years education and care. The apprenticeship covers a range of Early Years-related skills, including:
You will need to have a Grade 4 in maths and English. If GCSE English or maths is not achieved, an equivalent Level 2 Functional Skills may be acceptable. If you are16-18, English and / or maths is a mandatory part of the apprenticeship. If you are 19+, English and / or maths is an optional part of the apprenticeship that is decided by your employer whether you retake or not.
You must be employed in a relevant role, or have an employer lined up to begin your apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship is assessed through an end-point assessment, which includes a professional discussion and knowledge test.
You will gain a nationally recognised qualification in Early Years Education and Care.
The Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship is a work-based training program designed to develop the skills and knowledge needed to work in a range of early years settings, such as nurseries, pre-schools, and reception classes. The apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with classroom learning, allowing you to develop practical skills while gaining theoretical knowledge.
