You’ll learn how to collect and analyse evidence, interpret results and present findings in a clear and concise manner. Unit 3- Regulation and Quality in the Applied Sciences (Pearson-set) (15 credits)
Unit 4 – Cell Biology (15 credits)
Unit 17 – Fundamentals of Biochemistry (15 credits)
Unit 21 – Criminal Investigation (15 credits)
Full Time and Part Time available for 2025 entry:
Students attend College two days a week (full time) or 1 day a week (part time).
Students will participate in a range of activities, including lectures, workshops, group work, presentations and practical activities and Science based practicals.
Students are encouraged to use a range of resources, including books and journals from the Learning Resource Centre on Campus, as well as online materials.
This is a fast pace course and you will be expected to have good attendance and complete independent study outside of lessons.
The course is 100% coursework assessed.
This consists of reports, projects and presentations.
Mature learners may present a more varied profile of achievement that is likely to include extensive work experience and/or achievement of a range of professional qualifications in their work sector.
