This program is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and practical experience needed to excel in the exciting field of forensic science.
With a focus on hands-on learning and practical elements to the course, you’ll gain a deep understanding of the scientific principles and techniques that underpin forensic investigation. Students attend College two days a week (full time) or 1 day a week (part time).
Students will participate in a range of activities, including lectures, workshops, group work, presentations and practical activities and Science based practical work.
Students are encouraged to use a range of resources, including books and journals from the Learning Resource Centre on Campus, as well as online materials.
This is a fast pace course and you will be expected to have good attendance and complete independent study outside of lessons.
The course is 100% coursework assessed.
This consists of reports, projects, practical work and presentations
You must have passed the Higher National Diploma in Applied Science (Forensics)
