This course would be suitable if you are working at Entry Level 2 or 3 and need a supported course to improve your transition from school.
You might be in need of some confidence building before progressing, or may not have taken exams for a variety of reasons, e.g. health/personal circumstances.
This course will allow you to take either a certificate, or extended certificate qualification, depending on your individual needs. The course gives learners a taste of different vocations, such as Travel & Tourism, Sport, IT and Business. You will also develop teamwork and learning skills.
You will be expected to take part in a work experience placement.
A satisfactory interview.
This course will be assessed through coursework.
On successful completion of the course you will have the opportunity to progress to a higher level course, within the vocational areas at College.
You could consider a junior position in your chosen vocational area, but further training is probably a better option.
