This course will help you to progress with your independence and confidence for further study and future aspirations.
You will enjoy working in small groups to develop these skills, in a friendly and supportive environment.
During the course, you will study some vocational subjects such as cooking, sport and gardening, as well as having the opportunity to participate in community projects, and be part of a small enterprise activity. You will also develop your team building and communication skills.
Functional Maths and English are also part of this programme.
A satisfactory interview to ensure individual needs are met.
The course is assessed through a combination of coursework and practical tasks.
You can progress to the Step Up to Work Skills or Foundation Studies courses.
You will be invited to attend an introductory ‘Welcome Week’ and assessment before starting your course.
